PNCA invites entries for speech contest (Urdu) to commemorate Black Day on 27^th October

Other details & TORs.

1. Speech Contest will be held in one category of Urdu Speech.
2. Age Group for the category will be 13-18 yrs old girls and boys

• Speech content should be based on research and logical reasoning

1. Speech content should not exceed 400 to 600 hundred words, should not be less than 3 minutes, should not exceed five minutes.
2. Last date for sending entries through videos on What’s App 0303-5504897 is Monday till 11:30 am Morning of 24^th October, 2022
3. After initial auditions through scrutiny of videos for speech competition, ten (10) contestants will be selected and invited for final round of competition at PNCA on 27^th October, 2022 at 9:00 am.

• Each contestant selected for final round will submit content/ script of speech in typed format to jury members one hour before speech competition
• Decision of the jury members of the final round will be final and will not be challenged by the contestants at any forum.

1. Certificates and will be distributed among contestants of final round.
2. Shields will be distributed among 1^st three winners of the contestant.

1. TABLEAUS

Send video of your 10-15 tableau  in CD/DVD Format  to Ms. Shabana Ashraf, Dy. Director, Pakistan National Council of the Arts, Plot 5, F-5/1, Islamabad for selection by 11:30 am, Monday dated 24^th October, 2022. 

1. School and college students may participate in the Tableau.
2. Tableau should be based on theme of current scenario of Occupied Jammu & Kashmir

• Content of the Tableau should not be based on anti-state statement, policy or any act.

1. 10-15 minutes tableau will be selected for final performance at PNCA
2. Videos of tableaus in CD/ DVD Format may be submitted till Monday 11:30 am Morning of 24^th October, 2022 through post or in person for preselection.
3. PNCA shall select 1-2 Tableaus depending upon the quality of tableau to be presented at national level.

• Kashmiri cultural & traditions dresses and props should be presented during full dress rehearsal on 26^th October, 2022 and final show on 27^th October, 2022 at 10:00 am at PNCA.
• Performances and content of the tableaus should be of high quality to be presented at national level.

• Facilities and Incentives from Pakistan National Council of the Arts

1. Participating schools will be issued certificates of Participation and honorary shields.
2. Students selected for final round of speech and tableau shall be given certificates of participation.

• PNCA will provide pick & drop for full dress rehearsal of the tableau on 26^th October, 2022 at 10:00 am onward to the students and faculty members.

1. PNCA shall provide certificate and shield to the first three winners of the contest.
